A Year in Review | 2016

Wow! Is it possible that 2016 is already nearing its close?  This has been such an incredible monumental year for me that I will ALWAYS remember.  It was my very first year as a full time photographer and I couldn't have done it without the help and support of my friends and family.

A few personal notables:
-Chris and I moved in together
-Completed "Drink Around The World" at Disney
-Made lots of new friends through MJP and the Cape
-Climbed more than one mountain with Moses (that's a nickname for one of my high school friends!)
-Dressed up for a Gatsby Ski Weekend
-Hunted for mussels on the canal
-Nursed Chris's torn Achilles back to health
-Shot a gun for the first time
-Subsequently threw a gun for the first time...

A few business notables:
-Survived my first winter self employed on Cape Cod
-Ran not one but TWO styled shoots
-Joined Professional Photographers of Cape Cod
-Shot and second shot SO MANY WEDDINGS
-Found and consistently achieved my photographic style
-Developed my brand
-Created a new website
-Learned so much from so many talented fellow photographers
-Became 70% booked for 2017 weddings!

In an effort to not bore you with many more, I'll stop there.  Needless to say I learned a lot and have solidified that going full time was the best decision I could have possibly made in my life thus far.  Thank you 2016 for showing me the way.  Thank you to all of my MJP and second shooter couples for allowing me to capture your precious moments and making this one heck of a year...
