Spring Inspirational Styled Shoot at Overbrook House | Cape Cod, MA
Archive Pulled from May 16, 2016
Many of you may recall that I put together an inspirational shoot just a couple month's ago, so it might seem strange that I did another (albeit mini) one again so soon. Truth be told, I did it for a few reasons.
1.) I had so much fun the last time, I HAD to do it again. 2.) I had originally started planning the initial shoot with this FABULOUS hair stylist, but ended up having to change the date last minute and had to go with an equally FABULOUS alternative hair stylist, so I wanted to put one together for her. 3.) I wanted to get to know a local venue and a few more local wedding vendors since my move to Cape Cod. 4.) I had yet another to-die-for gorgeous model.
The list goes on... you get the idea.

I was lucky enough to get to use the incredibly rustic chic Overbrook House in Bourne, MA. This is just five minutes from my house, so it would be a perfect wedding venue for someone who wants to ensure their photographer is local :-P. I can't believe how perfectly Flowers by Anna executed the spring look I was going for. Perfect for the Overbrook House. AJ Marks Jewelers in Hyannis also took the time to find the perfect ring to go with the farmhouse rustic theme.Sposabella Bridal made sure to find the dress that was just the perfect fit for Justine and the house. I couldn't have been more grateful that they allowed us to feature this stunning gown.Annnnd as I mentioned before, I was beyond delighted that my stunning friend Justine was up for the challenge. The Overbrook House has so many incredible rooms, nooks and crannies, it was hard to choose where to start! The sunset could not have been more perfect. The golden light spilled over the extensive estate like it was meant to touch on every gorgeous part of the venue. Her hair was absolute perfection - done by the extraordinarily talented Tracy Flagg at Arabella Salon in Mashpee. This lovely hairpiece was provided by Sposabella for that final added touch. And last but not least her flawless makeup was done exactly how I imaged by Pam Biltcliffe at BeautyCounter!
I am beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such incredible vendors for this shoot. If you missed it above, here they are listed out for you again. Have a wonderful week everyone!
